The climate is superb throughout the year and similar to that of the Mediterranean. This region consists of peaceful fishing villages, empty beaches, perfect point break surf and stunning sunsets. Morocco is however a country of variety and the tranquil South West coast sits in stark contrast to cities such as Marrakech with their vibrant atmosphere, culture and traditions.
Our base is in Mirleft: A beautiful village with a relaxed atmosphere. The village is framed by a 13th century ruined fortress and is located South of Agadir. Mirleft is a very special place that manages to perfectly blend a controlled level of tourism and a traditional Moroccan way of life. It has some fantastic beaches and offers a variety of superb accommodation.
The Surf
South West Morocco is a truly world class surf destination. The North West angled coast consistently receives Atlantic swells that are the shaped into perfect right hand point, reef and beach break waves. The vast variety of options available ensures there is something for everyone.
We particularly like operating in Mirleft and the surrounding area because it not only enables us to escape the crowds but also because the water is clean, the swell is consistent throughout the year and the wave quality is excellent.
For those looking to escape the crowds we can guide you to many fantastic spots along the entire length of this coast. The coast is accessible by road and with a mixture of sand and flat rock bottoms this surf region allows beginners, intermediates and advanced surfers to develop their point, reef and beach break skills in a challenging yet safe environment.
